The new Silvara CORE Fluorine Free Foam represents the latest development included in our catalogue: a superconcentrate Newtonian fluorine free fire fighting foam to be applied in Class A fires at 0.2% and Class B fires at 0.3%. This has been certified by MPA Dresden as EN 1568-3:2018 (IC) at 0.3%. It is the most concentrated and certified Class B FF foam available.
With this incredible foam concentrate, your CAFS (Compressed Air Foam System) can have Class A at 0.2% and Class B at 0.3%. This changes everything. All over again.
Silvara CORE fluorine free foam concentrate is a low viscosity Newtonian foam concentrate to extinguish hydrocarbon fuel fires and solids. Formulated with solvents, hydrocarbon surfactants and additives, Silvara CORE doesn´t contain any type of organic halogen compound, is easily biodegradable and is responsible with the environment. Silvara CORE forms resistant foam to insulate the fuel of the oxygen and extinguish the fire.
Silvara CORE should be used at 0.3% in water to extinguish Class B fires (hydrocarbons fuels). It is not suitable to use on polar fuels.
It is useful to combat class A fires (solids) because its excellent wetting properties. Silvara CORE has been designed to obtain its optimal potential when it is used with CAFs.
