FLIR K Series Thermal Imaging Cameras

Fire Response is an authorised Australian distributor of FLIR thermal imaging cameras for the fire service. We supply the current FLIR K-Series — the K75, K85, and the latest K85-N — to fire brigades, industrial emergency response teams, and rescue services across Australia.

Why Fire Services Choose FLIR K-Series

FLIR K-Series thermal imaging cameras are purpose-built for the fireground. They allow firefighters to see through smoke, locate victims in zero-visibility conditions, identify hotspots, track fire spread, and assess structural conditions during interior operations. Every camera in the current K-Series uses FLIR’s single-range imaging architecture — continuous, freeze-free video without mode switching as scene temperatures rise.

The Current FLIR K-Series Range

The FLIR K75 (320×240 resolution) delivers high-quality thermal imaging with simplified three-button operation, automatic scene adaptation, and connectivity to the FLIR Responder App. Suited to brigades equipping crews across fleet or seeking a capable, field-proven TIC at a practical price point.

The FLIR K85 (640×480 resolution) provides premium thermal detail for demanding operational environments — interior attack, rapid size-up, and post-event review. Upgraded 2026 optics deliver improved image clarity in low-contrast conditions.

The FLIR K85-N is FLIR’s most advanced handheld firefighting TIC and the first thermal imaging camera certified to NFPA 1930:2025. It delivers 640×480 resolution, enhanced single-range operation across −20°C to 650°C without image freeze, purpose-built firefighting modes (search, detection, high-heat, white-hot), improved ergonomics for gloved operation, and 2× high-clarity zoom. Designed as the successor to the K65, it sets the new benchmark for fire service TICs.

The K75, K85, and K85-N all connect to the FLIR Responder App for camera configuration, live video streaming, over-the-air firmware updates, and post-incident training review.
