Description
FLIR K95 Thermal Imaging Camera for Firefighting
The FLIR K95 Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC) is designed to give firefighters a clearer understanding of the fireground by bringing more of the scene into view at once. Combining high-resolution 640 × 480 thermal imaging with an ultra-wide 95° field of view, the K95 helps crews assess room layouts, identify hazards, and maintain situational awareness in smoke-filled environments.
Built for structural firefighting, the K95 features FLIR’s freeze-free single-range imaging technology, ensuring continuous thermal awareness from ambient temperatures through to extreme heat without distracting range switching. Wireless connectivity through the FLIR Responder App also supports live streaming, camera configuration, training, and post-incident review.

FLIR K95 Features:
- Ultra-wide 95° field of view – The widest field of view available in a FLIR K-Series firefighting camera, allowing crews to see more of a room, identify movement paths faster, and reduce the need for constant scanning.
- High-resolution thermal imaging – Crisp 640 × 480 thermal resolution delivers exceptional image clarity helping firefighters identify hazards, assess fire development, navigate smoke-filled environments, and support search and rescue operations.
- Freeze-free single-range imaging – Continuous thermal imaging across temperatures from -20°C to 650°C eliminates the interruptions associated with dual-range cameras, helping firefighters maintain situational awareness in dynamic environments.
- Enhanced situational awareness – By bringing more of the fireground into view, the K95 helps crews interpret fire spread, hot gas layers, structural features, and changing fire conditions more quickly.
- Wireless connectivity and live streaming – Connect to the FLIR Responder App for camera configuration, wireless streaming, software updates, image sharing, and post-incident reporting.
- Built for firefighting – IP67 rated, drop-tested to 2 metres, and engineered to withstand harsh fireground conditions including exposure to 260°C for up to 5 minutes.

FAQ
A: The FLIR K95’s standout feature is its ultra-wide 95° field of view. Compared to traditional firefighting TICs, it allows firefighters to see significantly more of a room or fireground scene without excessive scanning, improving situational awareness and decision-making.
A: Both cameras offer 640 × 480 resolution and single-range firefighting imaging. The key difference is the K95’s wider 95° × 74° field of view, allowing firefighters to see more of the environment at once and gain better situational awareness during search, rescue, and fire attack operations
A: Structural firefighting thermal imaging cameras help firefighters see through smoke, locate hotspots, identify fire spread, improve navigation, and assist with victim searches. Designed for use in extreme fireground conditions, the FLIR K95 provides a clear thermal image and a wide field of view to support faster, more informed decision-making during firefighting operations
A: The FLIR K95 is designed for structural firefighters, fire brigades, industrial fire and rescue teams, and emergency responders who require high-resolution thermal imaging and maximum situational awareness during firefighting operations. Its ultra-wide 95° field of view helps crews see more of the environment while operating in smoke-filled and low-visibility conditions.
