FireFighter Axe
Sturdy fireman’s axe complete with fibreglass handle
Combination head with axe blade on one end and a mattock blade for digging or grubbing on the other.
Forged steel head and heat treated working ends produce a fine grain structure and RC 45-55 Rockwell hardness. Valued for safety, edge holding and toughness.

Construction is a pultruded structural fiberglass core with an injection molded jacket acting as an exterior body. The jacket is tough, durable engineered polymer.
Extremely strong, non-conductive and non-corrosive. The head is joined to the handle with a strong resilient epoxy, forming a chemical and mechanical bond.
The interior detail of the eye is tapered and allows for a strong mechanical bond.
Total length 0.9m with 11cm wide axe head and 8cm wide mattock head. Weight 2.5kg. Includes rubber sheath for blades.
