Electrically Actuated Ball Valve 2.5″
The Akron Brass 2.5″ electrically actuated ball valve is purpose designed for use in mining applications with the severe-duty water cannons. Designed to be used on mining watercarts and at mining washdown facilities.
Has a 2.5″ NPTF inlet and a 2.5″ NPTF outlet.
The electric motor is fully sealed from the environment, and uses IP67 rated weatherproof deutsch plugs.
The all valve opens and closes at 20 degrees per second. The controlled open / close speed ensures the water stream through the water cannon is managed effectively by the watercart operator.
Materials used – marine grade brass, polyethylene bearings and stainless steel ball.
