Multipurpose Jet Lance CMM 65
The AWG CMM is a multipurpose jet lance designed for reliable performance in structural firefighting, industrial fire response, and general fire suppression applications. Its combination nozzle delivers both a concentrated full jet and a wide spray jet from the same body, switchable on the fly without interrupting water flow.
Full jet reach is 25 metres at the reference pressure of 6 bar, giving operators effective standoff distance for direct attack. The spray jet covers a 15–20° spray angle, with intermediate positions available across the spray range — allowing the operator to dial in coverage rather than choosing between two fixed settings. When a full shutoff is needed, a single movement closes the flow completely regardless of which nozzle position is currently set.
The CMM’s simple mechanical construction is a deliberate design choice for field conditions. Fewer components means less to fail, and the nozzle is largely insensitive to particulate contamination — a practical advantage on construction sites, mining operations, and rural fire grounds where water quality is variable. If debris does cause a partial blockage, switching between jet positions flushes the nozzle without disassembly.
Constructed with an aluminium alloy coupling and connecting via Storz 65 (C), the CMM is compatible with standard 65mm firefighting hose lines. At 1.9 kg and 450mm in length, it’s a manageable working tool for extended operations without excessive fatigue.
