Foam Transfer System

Description

Designed for mining operations, industrial fire teams, and emergency services that need to decant or transfer large volumes of foam concentrate quickly and safely, this foam transfer system eliminates the slow, manual process of moving product from a 1000L IBC to a truck or smaller storage vessel.

At the core of the unit is a Graco Husky 2″ air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pump, an industry-proven choice for chemical handling that delivers up to 175 litres per minute with minimal operator effort. The AODD design handles viscous and sensitive foam concentrates without shear damage, and continues to operate safely even if the outlet is temporarily blocked.

The system is built for the site conditions where foam concentrate is actually used. An aluminium trolley with swivelling braked castors makes it easy to position alongside any IBC or pallet. Connections throughout use 316 stainless steel camlock fittings and adaptors, chosen for chemical resistance and fast connect/disconnect without tools. A manual ball valve provides controlled discharge, while an integrated air regulator and isolation valve allow the operator to adjust flow and shut down cleanly.

Compatible with all commercially available foam concentrate types, including fluorine-free foam (F3), AFFF, FFFP, AR-AFFF, and Class A foam — so it can move between product types without compatibility concerns. Fully assembled on delivery, with no site installation required.
