D-TEC Reach AC Voltage Detector by Will-Burt
The D-TEC Reach is a non-contact AC voltage detector designed for professionals who need to identify hazardous electrical fields quickly – without getting close. Designed by Will-Burt and assembled in the USA, it delivers the durability and reliability demanded by emergency services and industrial operators.
Three adjustable sensitivity settings let operators tune detection range to the environment. Low sensitivity suits confined spaces where nearby energised lines shouldn’t trigger false alerts; high sensitivity provides maximum early warning – up to 107 metres from a 46 kV transmission source. Both audible and visual alerts activate simultaneously, ensuring detection is clear even in high-noise operational environments.
Compact and lightweight, the D-TEC Reach deploys instantly from its included storage bag. Powered by four AA batteries (included), it requires no warm-up time and is ready to use immediately.
